Early Childhood Systems Strategy & Implementation

Jessica Adam is an education leader, early childhood strategist, and children’s author dedicated to helping children build strong foundations for lifelong learning, identity, and faith.

She currently serves as a Pre-K Reading Language Arts Coordinator with Dallas Independent School District, where she supports districtwide early learning initiatives, curriculum alignment, and professional development for hundreds of educators across one of the nation’s largest urban school districts. In her role, she develops and supports instructional systems designed to improve kindergarten readiness, strengthen literacy outcomes, and create engaging learning experiences for young children.

With more than 15 years of experience spanning teaching, curriculum development, instructional coaching, and educational leadership, Jessica’s work is rooted in a belief that early childhood education has the power to transform life trajectories and expand educational equity. She earned a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Illinois Chicago.

Jessica’s passion for educational equity was shaped early in life while growing up in Humboldt Park, Chicago, where she witnessed firsthand how access to quality education can dramatically influence opportunities and outcomes for children.

In addition to her work in education, Jessica is the founder of The Adam Collective, a purpose-driven organization focused on early learning, publishing, leadership, and intentional family resources.

Her work blends research-based educational practices with warmth, intentionality, and a deep commitment to helping children thrive academically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Building strong foundations; by design, not by chance.

I help school systems, educators, and families lay strong early foundations so that children can truly thrive.

My work is rooted in a simple belief:
it is better to be proactive than reactive.

In education, we often wait until gaps appear before we intervene. But by the time those gaps are visible in the upper grades, we are already behind. I chose to begin at the start of a child’s educational journey: where curiosity is formed, confidence is built, and a love of learning can take root for a lifetime.

My Why

I grew up in Humboldt Park in Chicago but attended a magnet school in a more affluent neighborhood. One day, after missing my bus, I spent the day at my neighborhood school.

The difference was immediate.

I realized then, at a young age, that access to quality education was not equal. I saw firsthand how far ahead I was academically, simply because of the environment I had been placed in.

That moment stayed with me.

It shaped my belief that every child deserves a fair shot at success, and that the circumstances they are born into should never determine the quality of education they receive.

Research continues to affirm what I witnessed early on:
high-quality Pre-K experiences close equity gaps, improve long-term outcomes, and contribute meaningfully to society.

This work matters

not just for individual children, but for communities as a whole.

As an Author

My books are created to help children learn foundational skills while also understanding who they are in Christ.

I was inspired to write from a place of both faith and purpose. In a world where many struggle with insecurity and self-doubt, I’ve always felt called to affirm, encourage, and lift others up.

My work reminds children of a truth I believe deeply:

They are loved.
They are not alone.
They were created with purpose.

I want every child who reads my books to feel confident and at peace; knowing that they were created intentionally, because the world needed one of them.

A Note on My Work

Everything I create; whether in classrooms, consulting engagements, or books — is rooted in the same foundation:

intentionality, care, and a commitment to doing work that lasts.

Stories matter. The ones we tell our children shape who they become.
